Who will win the Men's French Open Roland Garros 2014

So the Roland Garros is around the corner.Who will taste the victory in the red dirt this year.

Its hard to imagine anyone winning the title when fully fit Nadal is around but this year things could change. Who are the prime candidates to win the title? Djokovic,Wawrinka or could be even Federer if the draw is kind to him and if Nadal loses somewhere before quarter-finals.

Nadal:
He is expected to win every year when he is fit, but last 3 years things have slightly changed and this si going to be his toughest title defence. Djokovic was peaking but infortunately he had a wrist injury and hopefully its not that big.
Nadal has stregth, stamina, endurance and all the ingredients in his armoury to win the title. Having said that age is starting to catch up with him. 2 loses in clay in year would not be an issue for a good player but for Nadal it is something he has work on.His confidence should be down especially after losses in Aussie Open, Miami, monte carlo and barcelona...He could meet Wawrinka in the semis which would be blockbuster semi-finals ,Nadal's fiery forehand against the beauty of Warinka backhand.

Djokovic:

Djokovic was hit with Wrist injury during Monte carlo semis against Federer. He is now playing in Madrid means he has recovered. He was on a terrrific form after the Aus open winning couple of Harcourts master 1000 series in US. He has been on the verge of winning the French for the last 3yrs but federer had other ideas in 2011 and Nadal was lucky to win last year. Wawrinka could spoil the Djokovic party .Djokovic will feel confident in beating nadal but Wawrinka.

Wawrinka:

Wawrinka has been making in-roads to the top four since last jan Australian open and finally did it this year in the Aus open. I expect him to reach atleast semifinals but he has to beat Nadal and Djokovic in semis and finals whihc is a  tough ask in clay. He fancies beating both of them but nadal could prove to be a tough one. Over 5 sets with a single backhand against djokovic and Nadal could prove to be a big ask.

We cant dismiss Federer not just he is federer but he could have been one of the best clay court players of all time if nadal was born in a different era. Federer problem will be Nadal and i dont think he could be Nadal in clay with age coming in to play as well..

Djokovic to beat Nadal in 4 sets
